May 2009 Message from the President

It has been a busy time since being elected on March 20th, but all well worth while.
I would like to welcome Les Chan to the Board of Directors and Janna Ginsberg as Victoria A.M.'s historian. Both will add to our great team.

The cruise ship season began on time, with the arrival of the Amsterdam on April 23 under almost sunny skies. Victoria A.M. Association was fortunate enough to have our first You Tube video done by new member Don Chaput, of this arrival. Please visit the following link to view this great piece of our Meet and Greet program. (click to view video) If you like it pass the link along to your family and friends, if you don’t like it please email the office to let us know your concerns.

Last breakfast on May 1, Tommy Mayne donated $5,000 to the statue fund with a pledge to match donations made from May 1 to June 19 to a maximum of $2,500 Let’s see if we can have the statue thermometer up to the half way mark by our next regular breakfast on May 29, at the Gorge Vale Golf course.
